Flowers and gardens have been a passion for as long as I can remember. At the age of six my sister and I raised herbs and flowers with my grandmother that we sold from a cart in front of our house. By eleven, I had designed an herb garden and enlisted my father to help lay the brick pathways.

Being drawn to art, design and the natural world, I pursued a bachelor’s degree in fine arts with a focus on 3 dimensional design. It all came together after college when a job transfer took my husband and me to Chicago and I spent 4 years training at the city’s premier florist, A New Leaf. There I learned the importance of  seasonality and how to continually seek to reconsider what’s possible in the world of flowers.

Back living south of Boston, I ran my own event floral design studio, Gatherings, until another job transfer took us to England. There I spent 3 years learning about English gardens and floral design. With the ability to put down roots in Cohasset, Pond Street Flowers was founded to continue my passion for flowers and gardens and share my experience with clients to create unforgettable bespoke events.
